Here is the first unstable version of Wordpress Domain Portfolio 1.1, feel free to download.
New Features:
- Support for IDN domain names, supports most languages and can create punycode automatically. (Punycode feature requires PHP5)
- Now grabs information from Google, Yahoo and MSN
- Automatic keyword recognition
- Easily style all aspects of the portfolio and table through CSS. Even change each row and column individually with “id” tags.
Requirements: Wordpress 2.3.x
Version 1.1 Unstable: [Download]
Installation Instructions:
- Unzip file and put contents into your plug-ins directory. You should have the following file tree:

- dp-install.php
- dp-export.php
- dp-edit.php
- dp-bulkadd.php
- dp-adminpanel.php
- dp-import.php
- dp-options.php
- exporter.php
- punycode
- idna_convert.class.php
- transcode_wrapper.php
- uctc.php
- temp
- images
- contact.gif
- captcha.png
- asc.gif
- desc.gif
- info.gif
- pre.gif
- CHMOD the “temp” folder to 777
- Activate the plug-in through the Wordpress Plugins manager
- Once activated, go to ‘Manage > Pages’ in the administration panel and edit the page named “Domain Portfolio”
- Click publish
- Now it’s all setup! Visit ‘Manage > DN Portfolio’ to start adding your domain names!
Upgrade instructions:
- Disable your current version of “Domain Portfolio” via the Plug-ins manager
- Backup your prefix_dp_domains table to your computer (optional, but recommended)
- Upload and replace all the files included in the zip, you should have the same file tree as in the Installation Instructions
- CHMOD the “temp” folder to 777
- Activate the “Domain Portfolio” plug-in via the Plug-ins manager. Depending on how many domains you had in your portfolio it may take some time.
- Go to your portfolio page on your blog. Everything should appear the same, other then possibly the styling and/or intro text. This is all editable through the admin control panel.
Enjoy.

Really nice work! Though, I am wondering how does one “select” the options in the visable colums?

Hold the CTRL button (or equivalent) and click on the options you want in the Selection box.

I have been working on categories, but I have been concentrating most of my time in school. I will continue working on the Wordpress Domain Portfolio later this month, I should be able to push out a new version by early July.

@domaintreats: I’m afraid I don’t personally have a demo up, however if you google “Powered by Wordpress Domain Portfolio” some sites using my addon should come up in the results.

Cannot seem to get the download to work. Is there a problem with the file?
Error is a 404 not found
The requested URL /wp-content/uploads/2008/02/domain-portfolio.zip was not found on this server.
I would appreciate a link to this or even better an updated version if there is one…

Sorry, the link was broken. It has been fixed and download should be working as per usual.
I haven’t had a chance to work on any of my programs this year, they are as-is. If any is updated, a new version will be posted.
