Here is the first unstable version of Wordpress Domain Portfolio 1.1, feel free to download.

New Features:

  • Support for IDN domain names, supports most languages and can create punycode automatically. (Punycode feature requires PHP5)
  • Now grabs information from Google, Yahoo and MSN
  • Automatic keyword recognition
  • Easily style all aspects of the portfolio and table through CSS. Even change each row and column individually with “id” tags.

Installation Instructions:

  1. Unzip file and put contents into your plug-ins directory. You should have the following file tree:

  2. CHMOD the “temp” folder to 777
  3. Activate the plug-in through the Wordpress Plugins manager
  4. Once activated, go to ‘Manage > Pages’ in the administration panel and edit the page named “Domain Portfolio”
  5. Click publish
  6. Now it’s all setup! Visit ‘Manage > DN Portfolio’ to start adding your domain names!

Upgrade instructions:

  1. Disable your current version of “Domain Portfolio” via the Plug-ins manager
  2. Backup your prefix_dp_domains table to your computer (optional, but recommended)
  3. Upload and replace all the files included in the zip, you should have the same file tree as in the Installation Instructions
  4. CHMOD the “temp” folder to 777
  5. Activate the “Domain Portfolio” plug-in via the Plug-ins manager. Depending on how many domains you had in your portfolio it may take some time.
  6. Go to your portfolio page on your blog. Everything should appear the same, other then possibly the styling and/or intro text. This is all editable through the admin control panel.
